Cloud backup

Cloud backup you can confidently recover from.

Monitored backups, protected copies and tested recovery designed around your business priorities.

How we help

Protection is only complete when recovery works

ITSPLUS designs cloud backup around the systems your business depends on, then monitors jobs and tests restoration instead of relying on a green status alone.

Reliable backups

Automated, monitored protection covers agreed servers, cloud data and business systems.

Recovery planning

Recovery priorities and responsibilities are documented before an incident.

Australian data

Australian data-residency options are available where they fit business requirements.

Cloud services still need a backup strategy

Microsoft 365 and other cloud platforms provide resilient services, but businesses remain responsible for many deletion, retention, account and recovery scenarios. A separate backup can provide independent retention and recovery options when native recycle bins or version history are not enough.

ITSPLUS maps email, SharePoint, OneDrive, servers, applications and endpoint data to business recovery requirements so important information is not omitted simply because it lives in the cloud.

Resilience against ransomware and mistakes

Backups should not rely on the same identities, infrastructure or administrative path as production systems. Protected credentials, multi-factor authentication, independent copies and immutability help prevent an attacker or accidental change from destroying both live data and recovery points.

Retention is matched to operational and compliance needs. More copies are not automatically better: the design must consider recovery speed, data volume, legal obligations, cost and the consequences of retaining sensitive information unnecessarily.

Monitoring and restore testing

A completed job does not prove that an application can be recovered. ITSPLUS monitors failures and capacity, investigates warnings and performs agreed restore tests. Testing can cover individual files, mailboxes, virtual machines or documented recovery sequences.

Results expose missing credentials, undocumented dependencies and unrealistic recovery assumptions while there is still time to correct them.

Planning for business continuity

We help define which systems must return first, how long the business can tolerate an outage and who makes decisions during an incident. Backup, cloud infrastructure, internet, identity and communications are then considered as one continuity plan rather than isolated products.
