Where UniFi fits

UniFi can deliver capable wireless and switching for small businesses, offices, warehouses, hospitality and multi-site environments when it is designed properly. The right result depends on suitable models, placement, power, uplinks and security—not brand selection alone.

A complete network design

Access points rely on switching, cabling, internet and firewall services. We plan PoE capacity, VLANs, uplinks, equipment locations and controller management as one system. Existing networks can be reviewed for interference, unsupported hardware, flat network design and inconsistent configuration.

For security-focused environments, UniFi switching and wireless can integrate with FortiGate firewalls and policies.

Deployment and migration

New deployments are staged, labelled and documented before installation where practical. When replacing an existing wireless network, SSIDs, authentication, device compatibility and cutover timing are planned to minimise disruption. Coverage and business-critical devices are tested after the change.

UniFi support and improvement

ITSPLUS supports firmware planning, configuration backup, controller issues, capacity changes, new sites and troubleshooting. We look beyond the dashboard to identify cabling, client, DNS, internet or firewall issues that can appear to be wireless faults.
